How to verify your site with Google

Verifying your site with Google confirms that you are the website owner. This lets you access Google Search Console, where you can see how your site appears in search results, check for issues, and improve your SEO.

Follow these steps to verify your site:

1. Go to Settings in your Breedpost dashboard.
2. Scroll down to Integrations.
3. Find the field for Google Site Verification.
4. Paste in the verification code from Google.

   • Google will give you a meta tag that looks like this:

     <meta name="google-site-verification" content="abc123xyz456" />
     

   • Copy only the abc123xyz456 part (the value in content="...").

5. Save your settings.
