Articles

Articles are used for blog posts, news, or updates. Each article has its own page, can be featured in listings, and may link to related content like other articles, breedings, or individuals.

Status

Set the status of the article (e.g. Published, Draft). Only published articles are visible on your live site.


Page Heading

The main heading for the article (H1).


URL Slug

The unique path for the article.

Tip
Keep slugs short, lowercase, and descriptive for SEO. Example: labrador-puppy-socialisation-tips


Date

The published date of the article.

Info

The date controls both the published date displayed on the article page and the order of articles in listing pages.


Background

Select a background style for the article page.


Image

Upload or select the main image for the article.


Hero Image Width

Choose how the hero image is displayed:

  • Full – Full width.
  • Full with Padding – Full width with spacing.
  • Half – Half-width image.
  • Half with Padding – Half-width image with spacing.

Summary

A short introduction that appears in the hero section and on listing pages.

Tip

The summary is shown in list previews as well as the hero section. Keep it short and engaging.


Building Blocks

Add as many blocks as you like below the hero — text, galleries, testimonials, lists, etc.


The Related section lets you connect this article to other content on your site. This improves internal linking, helps visitors discover more relevant pages, and supports SEO.

Examples:

  • Writing a blog post about a champion dog → link to that dog’s individual profile page.
  • Announcing an upcoming breeding → link directly to the breeding page.
  • Sharing a training tip or health update → link to another related article.

Choose a background style for the related content section.

Display Options

Checkboxes to choose whether to show:

  • Hero Image
  • Summary

Optional heading above the related items (e.g. Related Articles, You may also like).

Add related content items one at a time. You can link to:

  • Another Article
  • A Breeding
  • An Individual

SEO & Social Media Fields

Title tag, meta description, Open Graph image
