Breeder website examples
Real websites built with Breedpost, across horses, goats, alpacas, cats and dogs. Each one shows a different way to present animals, pedigrees and breeding plans.
Diamond Road Arabians
A small Arabian stud on the mid-north coast of New South Wales. Each mare family has its own page, with every horse shown alongside its sire and dam. Foals are archived by year, and For Sale and Recent Sales sit in their own menu.
Red Canyon Arabians
Our horse demo, built to show what a larger stud can do. It includes five-generation pedigrees, show results with judge's critiques, mare family pages, a breeding schedule and a foal archive.
Every horse is entered once. Link a foal to its sire and dam and it appears on both parents' pages, with the full pedigree built automatically.
Ahsum Acres
A Miniature Silky Fainting Goat herd in Peoria, Arizona. The homepage leads with goats for sale, each card showing the sire and dam, followed by the herd sires.
The herd is split into Herd Sires, Dams and Offspring. Each goat has a profile with breed-specific details like Faints and Horns, a pedigree, and a progeny list that fills in automatically as offspring are added.
Faith’s Acres Nigerian Dwarf Goats
An ADGA-registered Nigerian Dwarf herd in Decatur, Indiana. The homepage leads with available goats, then the planned pairings for the next kidding season.
The herd is split into Bucks, Junior Does, Senior Does, First Fresheners and Reference goats. Each goat has its own profile with a pedigree, and each planned breeding has its own page linking back to the parents.
Thistledown Alpacas
Our alpaca demo, a fictional huacaya stud with two stud males and eight females. The Our Herd page lists every alpaca with a photo and short intro, and each one links through to its own profile with a five-generation pedigree.
Novies Maine Coons
A Maine Coon cattery in Buna, Texas. Each cat has its own profile with coat, date of birth, owner and breeder, plus a three-generation pedigree built from cats already on the site. Available kittens sit on the homepage, with buttons straight to the kitten list and application form.
Nadina Golden Retrievers
Nadina uses a soft green palette and strong photography. Each litter has its own page with the pairing, birth date, an adoption application button and a four-generation pedigree with photos of each dog. Buyers can explore the lineage without opening a PDF.
Kabova
Our largest site, covering Pugs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and Shiba Inus, with over 100 published profiles. Each one has a three, four or five-generation pedigree, and a news section shares show results and announcements as they happen.
However big the program gets, every dog is entered once and its pedigree builds itself. That’s how Kabova keeps them all up to date.
What these sites have in common
- Structure that fits the program. Stallions and mare families, does and bucks, kings and queens. Navigation is named and organised the way each breeder thinks.
- Every animal has its own page. Photos, details and pedigree in one place, linked to parents and offspring.
- Pedigrees built from the database. Enter each animal once and pedigrees assemble themselves, up to five generations.
- Clear next steps for buyers. Available animals, breeding schedules and enquiry forms are easy to find.
