Building Blocks

Video Embed

The Video Embed block allows you to share videos from platforms like Facebook or YouTube by simply pasting a link. The video will auto-embed on your site — there’s no need to copy full embed code or scripts.

This is useful for showcasing highlights, updates, or educational content without extra setup.

Example uses

  • Showcasing new litters
  • Educational videos
  • Behind-the-scenes updates
  • Event highlights
Info

If you're not sure how to add a Video block to your page, start with the Managing Building Blocks guide. It covers how to create a new block or add an existing one from your collection, as well as how to reorder and remove blocks within a page.

Background

Select the background for this block.

Paste the link to your video (Facebook or YouTube). The video will auto-embed — no embed code required.

Aspect Ratio

Choose how the video is displayed:

  • Landscape – Standard wide video format.
  • Portrait – Tall format, ideal for mobile-style videos.
  • Square – Balanced format, useful for social clips.

Tip
Use Portrait or Square for videos filmed on mobile to avoid black bars on the sides.

Position

Choose where the video appears relative to the text content:

  • Below Content – Video displays underneath the headline and content.
  • Above Content – Video displays above the headline and content.

Headline

An optional title that appears with the video.

Content

Optional rich text that appears below the headline. Use this to introduce the video or provide context.

Call to Action

Add an optional call-to-action button. You can link it to a Page, Individual, Article, or Breeding.
