Home
The Home page is usually the first thing visitors see when they land on your website. In Breedpost, it's built using the same flexible system as other pages — combining a Hero Section, one or more Building Blocks, and optional SEO and social media settings.
Structure of the Home Page
Just like any other page, the Home page is made up of:
Hero Section
Every homepage must begin with a Hero Section, which includes your main heading (H1), introductory text, and an optional call-to-action. This is required to give your homepage a clear structure and ensure your site has a primary headline for SEO and accessibility.
After the Hero Section, you can add whichever building blocks best suit your homepage goals — image galleries, testimonials, contact forms, or anything else you like.
The Hero Section is required on your homepage. It creates your main heading (H1), sets the tone for your site, and helps with search engine visibility.
See Hero Section layout options →
Building Blocks
Add as many blocks as you'd like below the hero, including galleries, testimonials, accordions, and more
SEO & Social Media Fields
Title tag, meta description, Open Graph image
What Makes the Home Page Unique?
- It’s the default landing page for your site’s root domain (e.g.
mydomain.com
) - It often sets the tone for your brand, so it’s a good place to:
- Introduce yourself or your breeding program
- Highlight current or upcoming litters
- Feature a few testimonials or standout animals
- Include a call-to-action (like “Apply Now” or “See Available Puppies”)
Tips for a Great Homepage
- Keep your Hero Section clean and welcoming
- Use 3–5 blocks below to create a natural scroll experience
- Don’t overload it — simplicity is more effective
- Consider a Gallery, Testimonials, and a Building Block linking to your Breeding or Individuals pages
