Upgrade to Gallery Block Styling

We're excited to announce significant enhancements to the Gallery Block feature in our Breedpost website builder, designed to offer more versatility and aesthetic appeal for your breeder websites.

Previous Gallery Block

Before the upgrade, our Gallery Block featured square thumbnails with an option to choose between two, three, four, five and six columns. The thumbnails open into a lightbox, providing a neat and straightforward way to display images with a consistent small gap between them.

New Gallery Type Options

In response to user feedback and to provide more customization options, we've added two new gallery types to the existing square thumbnail layout:

  • Square: Retaining the original square thumbnails, ensuring uniformity and a clean, organized look.
  • Auto: This option adjusts the height of the thumbnails based on the tallest image in the row, maintaining evenness and creating a visually pleasing layout. This is perfect for those who want to display images with varying heights without sacrificing the overall balance of the gallery.

  • Masonry: The masonry layout allows for a more dynamic and artistic presentation, where images are displayed in their original aspect ratios and arranged in a staggered manner. This option is ideal for those who wish to showcase their images in a more unique and creative way.

New Grid Gap Options

To further enhance the visual appeal and flexibility of your galleries, we've introduced customizable grid gap options. You can now choose from three different gap sizes to better fit your design preferences:

  • Small: A tight, compact spacing that maintains a clean and cohesive look.
  • Medium: Offers a balanced spacing, providing a bit more breathing room between images without overwhelming the viewer.
  • Large: Creates a spacious and airy feel, making each image stand out prominently.

These new features allow you to create stunning galleries that align with your specific aesthetic preferences and showcase your images in the best possible way. We are confident that these updates will help you create more engaging and visually appealing websites for your breeding business.
