New Parents Block Style and Layout Added

We are excited to announce a new addition to the Parents Block feature in our Breedpost website builder, offering a fresh style and layout to enhance the presentation of parent information on your breeder websites.

Current Parents Block Style: Large

The existing Parents Block style, known as Large, features a straightforward layout where the image of the sire (father) is displayed next to the image of the dam (mother) on larger devices. The heading, text, and Call-To-Action (CTA) button are positioned above these images, creating a clear and cohesive section for showcasing the parents.

New Parents Block Style: Three Columns

To provide more flexibility and a modern look, we have introduced a new Three Columns style. This layout arranges the content in three columns on larger devices:

  1. Father: The image of the sire is displayed in the first column.
  2. Text: The second column contains the heading, content, and CTA button.
  3. Mother: The image of the dam is displayed in the third column.

This new style not only offers a fresh and organized appearance but also enhances the readability and visual appeal of the parents' section.

Inspiration from Rose Quartz Minis

The inspiration for this new layout came from Rose Quartz Minis' old website. While transferring their site to Breedpost, we noticed their unique design and thought it would be a great addition to our Parents Block options. This layout not only looked great but also provided a practical and aesthetically pleasing way to display parent information.

Responsive Design

Both the Large and Three Columns styles are fully responsive and adapt seamlessly to smaller devices. On smaller screens, the layout stacks vertically in the following order:

  1. Heading
  2. Content
  3. CTA Button
  4. Father (Sire) Image
  5. Mother (Dam) Image

This ensures that the information remains easily accessible and visually appealing across all device sizes, providing a consistent user experience.

How to Use the New Parents Block Style

To apply the new Three Columns style, simply navigate to the Parents Block section in your site builder, select the desired style from the available options, and customize it with your content. Whether you choose the classic Large style (select Large) or the new Three Columns layout (select Small), both options are designed to highlight the parents effectively and attractively.
