We have recently completed a total redesign of Breedpost’s administration area.
This will make it easier for dog breeders to update and manage their website.
It also makes it much easier to build a complete website for those dog breeders that prefer to do everything themselves.
How has the Breedpost admin area changed?
Previously dog breeders could only build their website using the page tree.
The page tree is a hierarchical view of a website and provides an easy way to add pages underneath their parent pages in a structured way.
For some dog breeders, this worked well.
But for others, it can take some time to get used to.
The new admin still has the page tree and dog breeder websites can be managed from there.
We have created the following administration pages to make it easier to manage sections of your dog breeder website.
- new dashboard
- breeds and dog pages
- blog and categories
- litters
- rehoming
- gallery and albums
- show results
- judges
- people and data
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
An overview of the new dashboard page
When you login to Breedpost you will be redirected to a redesigned new main dashboard page.
When you first create an account you will be intuitively walked through step by step to start building your dog breeder website.
Your first steps will be to

Once you have completed those tasks you will be taken to the full dashboard with the following
- task list to help you build your dog breeder website
- pedigree helper to help you create your website pedigrees

Managing your website’s sections is much easier now.
You can view and edit your dogs’ pedigrees and show results all from within each breed section.
You can manage your articles and categories all from the blog section.
You can now easily add clubs, shows and results from the show results section. You can also view every result a judge has ever given your dog.
We have implemented a Search Engine Optimisation(SEO) listing page.
This page lists all of your web pages and and their SEO Site Titles and SEO Descriptions.
This new admin area offers dog breeders the choice to either use the page tree or use a more traditional content management system designs. Or you can use both.
We want to make it as easy as possible for dog breeders and show dog exhibitors to build, manage and update their websites.
And we think this new admin area will help.
